Photography
Tacubaya Ranch has one mile of walking trails developed for your enjoyment. On these trails you will be able to observe wildlife at several observation points along the way. There is an observation deck at Olga’s Lake, one of the two lakes on property, and birding stops along the walking trails. At these stops you can sit down and relax while watching the birds, butterflies and other wildlife eat, bathe and interact with one another.
Not only will photographers have total access to the 3,200 acres of land at Tacubaya for shooting, but they will also be able to take advantage of the photography sites/blinds we have already developed. All of our blinds are a comfortable 10′x5′x5′ in order to give adequate space for a photographer and assistant to shoot for the day. We have developed most locations with both a morning and evening blind near each other to give the photographer optimal conditions for their photos.
Another blind of interest at Tacubaya is our Raptor Blind. This blind has been designed to allow the photographer morning and evening shooting from one location. Not only will the photographer be able to photograph birds of prey; they will also be able to get pictures of resident predators, such as coyotes and bobcats, if they’re lucky.
The rates for daily photo blind rental is $125 per photographer.
